Tim Hopgood

Tim Hopgood is an award-winning British author and illustrator of children's picture books, born in 1961 and raised in England, where he studied illustration at Kingston Polytechnic. After twenty years as a graphic designer and art director in magazines like i-D and Vogue and the retail fashion industry, he transitioned to writing and illustrating books, with his debut Our Big Blue Sofa published in 2006 and bestsellers like What a Wonderful World and Wow! Said the Owl. His works have been translated into over twenty languages, earning accolades such as the Booktrust Early Years Award for Best Emerging Illustrator in 2008.
