Tim Green
Timothy John Green, born December 16, 1963, in Liverpool, New York, is a former NFL linebacker and defensive end for the Atlanta Falcons from 1986 to 1993, a New York State Bar attorney, sports commentator for NPR and FOX, and a New York Times bestselling author of nearly 40 novels.[1][2][4] He graduated as co-valedictorian from Syracuse University, earned a law degree with honors, and has written adult thrillers like The Dark Side of the Game as well as popular youth sports series such as Football Genius and Baseball Great.[1][2][3] Diagnosed with ALS in November 2018, Green continues to inspire through his writing and school visits.[1][4]
