Tim C. Jennerjahn is a senior scientist at the Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research (Leibniz-ZMT) in Bremen, Germany. He is also associated with editorial and conference roles in coastal and estuarine science, including serving as Editor in Chief of *Estuarine, Coastal and Shelf Science*.
