Thurka Sangaramoorthy

Thurka Sangaramoorthy is a cultural and medical anthropologist and global health researcher with over 25 years of experience conducting community-engaged ethnographic research in the United States, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. She is a professor of anthropology at American University and has authored books including "Landscapes of Care: Immigration and Health in Rural America," "Rapid Ethnographic Assessment," and "Treating AIDS."
