Thomas Wyatt

Sir Thomas Wyatt (1503-1542) was an English poet, courtier, and diplomat in the court of Henry VIII. He is credited with introducing the sonnet and other Italian poetic forms into English literature, and his work helped shape early Renaissance poetry in England.
