Thomas Vernon Wollaston

Thomas Vernon Wollaston was an English entomologist and malacologist known for his extensive studies of beetles and land snails, particularly those of the Madeira archipelago. His work contributed significantly to the fields of biogeography and taxonomy, and he was a contemporary of Charles Darwin and Alfred Russel Wallace.
