Thomas Sankara

Thomas Sankara was a Burkinabe military officer, Marxist revolutionary, and President of Burkina Faso from 1983 until his assassination in 1987. He is known for his anti-imperialist policies, social reforms, and iconic speeches, which have been posthumously compiled into books.
