Thomas Roma

Thomas Roma (born 1950), formerly Thomas Germano, is an American photographer known for exploring the neighborhoods and institutions of his native Brooklyn using a homemade camera. He founded the Photography Department at Columbia University’s School of the Arts, where he serves as Director, and has published eleven books of photography[1][2].
