Thomas Newman
Thomas Montgomery Newman (born October 20, 1955) is an American composer, conductor, and orchestrator best known for his film scores, having composed for over 80 motion pictures and television series.[1][4] The youngest son of legendary composer Alfred Newman, he has earned 15 Academy Award nominations, six Grammy Awards, two BAFTA Awards, and an Emmy Award for his evocative work on films like The Shawshank Redemption, American Beauty, WALL-E, and 1917.[1][3][4]
