Thomas Lincoln

Thomas Lincoln (1778–1851) was an American farmer and carpenter, best known as the father of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the United States. He faced numerous challenges in his life, including land ownership disputes and the early death of his first wife, before settling in Illinois with his family. Lincoln was not an author and did not write any known literary works.
