Thomas E. Rinderer
Thomas E. Rinderer is a Supervisory Research Geneticist at the USDA Honey-Bee Breeding, Genetics and Physiology Laboratory, known for his extensive work in honey bee breeding and resistance to Varroa destructor. He co-authored the book 'Russian Honey Bees' and has contributed significantly to beekeeping science over a 40+ year research career. He retired on January 2, 2016.
