Thomas Cook Publishing
Thomas Cook was not an author but an English travel entrepreneur and innovator who founded Thomas Cook & Son, the world's first travel agency, and is credited with inventing modern tourism. He was born on November 22, 1808, in Melbourne, Derbyshire, England, and died on July 18, 1892, in Leicester, England. The name 'Thomas Cook Publishing' appears to be a misattribution, as Cook was a book salesman and Baptist preacher who distributed tracts but did not publish under that name as an author.
