Thomas Cockaine
Thomas Coke (1747-1814) was an English clergyman, the first Methodist bishop, and a key figure in early Methodism as John Wesley's right-hand man. Ordained in the Anglican Church, he was expelled for Methodist sympathies, then co-founded Methodism in America with Francis Asbury and became known as the 'Father of Methodist Missions' for establishing missions worldwide, including the West Indies and plans for India.[1][2][3]
