Thomas Bodenheimer

Thomas Bodenheimer, M.D., is a general internist and health policy author who spent 32 years in primary care practice in San Francisco’s Mission District, including work in community health centers and private practice. He is an adjunct professor of Family and Community Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine and has coauthored books on health policy and primary care improvement.
