Thomas B Allen
Thomas B. Allen (1929–2018) was an American author and historian known for his works on military history, espionage, and mysteries, including the notable book *Possessed*, a retelling of a 1949 exorcism case. He contributed to *National Geographic* as a contributing editor, co-authored books with Norman Polmar, and served in the U.S. Navy before working as a journalist and editor. A longtime resident of Bethesda, Maryland, he was the father of science fiction writer Roger MacBride Allen.
