Thierry Poibeau

Thierry Poibeau is a CNRS Director of Research and head of the LATTICE laboratory (Langues, Textes, Traitements informatiques et Cognition) since 2012, specializing in natural language processing (NLP) with focuses on information extraction, question answering, knowledge acquisition from text, and digital humanities.[1][3] He is also an affiliated lecturer at the University of Cambridge's Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics and a directeur de recherche at École Normale Supérieure.[1][4] His interests extend to Finno-Ugric languages and the societal implications of artificial intelligence.[1][2]
