Thich Nhat Hanh

Thich Nhat Hanh was a Vietnamese Zen Buddhist monk, global spiritual leader, poet, peace activist, and founder of the Engaged Buddhism movement, renowned for his teachings on mindfulness and compassion. Born in central Vietnam, he became a novice monk at age sixteen and founded organizations like the School of Youth for Social Service and the Order of Interbeing amid the Vietnam War, leading to a 39-year exile.
