Theodore L Brown

Theodore Lawrence Brown (1928–2026) was an American scientist, educator, and writer known for his work in physical inorganic chemistry, science communication, and philosophy of science. He was Professor Emeritus of Chemistry at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the founding director emeritus of the Beckman Institute, and he also authored widely used chemistry textbooks.
