Theodore E Sterne

Theodore E. Sterne was an astrophysicist, educator, government research scientist, and administrator who worked in astrophysics and weapons systems. He authored key works including 'An Introduction to Celestial Mechanics' published in 1960 by Interscience Publishers and contributed to papers on the solar constant in Smithsonian Contributions to Astrophysics. He was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 1957.
