Terry Pratchett
Sir Terry Pratchett (1948–2015) was an English author best known for creating the Discworld series of 41 comic fantasy novels published between 1983 and 2015. He became Britain's best-selling author of adult fiction, writing over fifty successful titles and receiving a knighthood in 2009 for services to literature. Pratchett also co-wrote the apocalyptic comedy novel Good Omens with Neil Gaiman.
