Tara Green
Tara T. Green is a CLASS Distinguished Professor and Chair of African American Studies at the University of Houston, where she teaches literature and Black women's studies courses, with research interests in African American fiction, autobiography, Black feminism, and Southern studies.[1][2] Originally from the suburbs of New Orleans, she earned her bachelor's degree from Dillard University and advanced degrees from Louisiana State University, and has authored or edited several award-winning books including 'See Me Naked: Black Women Defining Pleasure During the Interwar Era' and 'A Fatherless Child.'[1][2][4]
