Tananarive Due

Tananarive Due is an award-winning American author and educator born on January 5, 1966, in Tallahassee, Florida. A leading voice in Black speculative fiction for over 20 years, she teaches Black Horror and Afrofuturism at UCLA and has won numerous prestigious awards including the American Book Award, Bram Stoker Award, Shirley Jackson Award, and World Fantasy Award. Her notable works include *The Reformatory*, *The Good House*, *My Soul to Keep*, and *Ghost Summer: Stories*.
