Tamara Gray
Dr. Tamara Gray is an Islamic scholar, educator, and founder of Rabata, where she serves as executive director, faculty, and chief spirituality officer, focusing on uplifting Muslim women through creative educational experiences. She holds a doctorate in leadership from the University of St. Thomas, a master’s in Curriculum Theory and Instruction from Temple University, and spent twenty years studying Islamic sciences, Quran, and Arabic in Damascus, Syria. She is an author of books like Joy Jots: Exercises for a Happy Heart and Project Lina: Bringing Our Whole Selves to Islam, a translator of sacred texts, and accepted Islam approximately 40 years ago.
