Taiichi Ohno

Taiichi Ohno was a Japanese industrial engineer and businessman best known as the father of the Toyota Production System, which later inspired lean manufacturing. He developed key ideas such as just-in-time production and the elimination of waste, and he wrote several influential books on manufacturing.[1][4][9]
