Sylvia Mader

Sylvia S. Mader was an American biologist and educator known for writing widely used biology textbooks, including *Inquiry into Life* and *Human Biology*. She taught biology, worked with science-shy students, and later continued her textbook writing career from Martha’s Vineyard.
