Sylvia Gunnery

Sylvia Gunnery is a Canadian author of more than 20 books for children and young adults, as well as professional resources for teachers of writing. She is a recipient of the Prime Minister's Teaching Award and was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal in 2022 by the Writers' Federation of Nova Scotia for her exceptional contributions to the arts. She lives at Crescent Beach on the South Shore of Nova Scotia.
