Sylvia Browne

Sylvia Celeste Browne (1936–2013) was an American writer and self-proclaimed medium and psychic who appeared regularly on television and radio, including The Montel Williams Show and Larry King Live. She founded the Society of Novus Spiritus in 1986 and authored over 40 books on paranormal topics, many of which became New York Times bestsellers. Browne claimed psychic abilities from early childhood and worked as a professional psychic starting in 1973, offering readings and allegedly assisting law enforcement with missing person cases.
