Sylvia A. Earle
Sylvia A. Earle is an American marine biologist, oceanographer, explorer, writer, and ocean conservation advocate. Known as "Her Deepness," she was the first woman to lead the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and has spent decades promoting ocean research and protection.
