Syed Ameer Ali

Syed Ameer Ali (1849–1928) was an Indian jurist, political leader, and scholar of Islam known for his influential writings on Muslim history and Islamic law.[1][2] He also played an important role in Muslim political reform in British India, including advocacy for separate electorates and the Khilafat Movement.[1]
