Swasti Mitter
Swasti Mitter (1939–2016) was a researcher and scholar focused on gender and development, with particular attention to how information technologies affected women’s employment in less developed countries. She held academic and research posts including Professor of Gender and Technology at the University of Brighton and Deputy Director of the UNU Institute of New Technologies at the University of Maastricht.[1]
