Suzanne Selfors
Suzanne Selfors, born in 1963 on an army base in Munich, Germany, was raised on Bainbridge Island, Washington, where she now lives as a national bestselling author of children's, middle-grade, teen, and adult books.[1][2][4] She attended Bennington College, earned a B.A. cum laude in theater from Occidental College, and an M.A. in communications from the University of Washington, working various jobs before becoming a full-time writer.[1] Known for series like Imaginary Veterinary, Smells Like Dog, and Ever After High, her whimsical style has been compared to Roald Dahl.[5][4][8]
