Susan Wicks

Susan Wicks is a British poet, novelist, and memoirist born in 1947 in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England. She studied French at the University of Hull and University of Sussex, earned a Ph.D. in 1976, and has taught creative writing at institutions including the University of Kent and Goldsmiths, University of London. Her works include poetry collections like Dear Crane (2021) and the memoir Driving My Father (1995), and she won the 2014 Oxford-Weidenfeld Translation Prize.
