Susan Stevens Crummel
Susan Stevens Crummel, born March 3, 1949, in Pensacola, Florida, is an award-winning American author of children's picture books, often co-authored with her sister, illustrator Janet Stevens. A former math teacher for 31 years in Fort Worth, Texas, she transitioned to full-time writing after the success of her first book, Cook-a-Doodle-Doo!, which won the Texas Bluebonnet Award.[1][3][5]
