Susan Price

Susan Price is an acclaimed English author of children's and young adult novels, best known for winning the Carnegie Medal for 'The Ghost Drum' in 1987 and the Guardian Prize for 'The Sterkarm Handshake' in 1997. Born in the Black Country near Birmingham, she published her first book, 'The Devil's Piper', at age 16 and has since written over 60 books spanning fantasy, science fiction, historical fiction, and folklore retellings. She lives in the West Midlands and continues to write and self-publish.
