Susan Faludi

Susan Faludi is an American feminist, journalist, and author known for her influential works on gender and media, including the bestselling Backlash: The Undeclared War Against American Women (1991), which won the National Book Critics Circle Award for Nonfiction. She won the Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Journalism in 1991 for her Wall Street Journal report on the human costs of the Safeway Stores leveraged buyout. Her other notable books include Stiffed: The Betrayal of the American Man (1999), The Terror Dream (2007), and In the Darkroom (2016), a memoir about her transgender father that was a Pulitzer finalist.[1][3][4]
