Sue Kassirer

Sue Kassirer is a published author and illustrator of children's books with Astra Publishing House. She is also a prolific clay artist and sculptor with over 30 years of experience, holding a BFA in Sculpture from UMass (1981) and exhibiting extensively in the Boston area since the early 1990s. Her artistic practice spans sculpture, installations, theater design, site works, and teaching clay classes, often exploring themes of nature and human interconnection, as seen in works like 'The Garden of Shadow and Smoke.'
