Sue Dobson

Sue Dobson is a South African author and former ANC spy who infiltrated the apartheid government's propaganda department in the 1980s after receiving intelligence training in Moscow.[1][2][3] She worked as a journalist, gathering sensitive information, until her cover was blown during a honey trap operation related to Namibian independence, leading to her escape to London where she gained political asylum.[2][3][4] In 2023, she published her memoir 'Burned: The Spy South Africa Never Caught,' detailing her espionage experiences.[1][3]
