Sudhir Dar

Sudhir Dar was a renowned Indian cartoonist and a leading figure of the second generation of editorial cartoonists, active primarily from the 1960s to the 1980s. He began his career at The Statesman in 1960-1961 and spent over two decades as the political staff cartoonist at Hindustan Times, where he created the popular pocket cartoon series 'This is It!' His work spanned both national and international political issues, earning him international acclaim and a household name status in Indian journalism.
