Stuart Biegel

Stuart Marshall Biegel (1945-2019) was a distinguished UCLA professor of law and education, recognized as a pioneer in technology law and policy, particularly at the intersection of technology, privacy, and disability rights in K-12 and higher education.[1][2][3] He authored the casebook 'Education and the Law' (4th ed. 2016) and 'Beyond Our Control? Confronting the Limits of Our Legal System in the Age of Cyberspace,' which won multiple awards, and began his career as a classroom teacher before joining UCLA in 1985.[3][4]
