Stott
John Robert Walmsley Stott (1921-2011) was a British Evangelical Anglican pastor, theologian, and leader of the worldwide evangelical movement, serving as rector of All Souls Church in London from 1950 to 1975. He authored over 50 books, including classics like *Basic Christianity* and *The Cross of Christ*, and was a principal author of the 1974 Lausanne Covenant. In 2005, *Time* magazine ranked him among the 100 most influential people in the world.[1][2]
