Steven Salerno

Steven Salerno is a New York City-based illustrator and children's picture book author who graduated with honors from Parsons School of Design in 1979, where he studied under Maurice Sendak. Originally from a small town in northern Vermont, he began his career with political drawings and animation before illustrating over 40 picture books, authoring and illustrating 5 titles including Little Tumbo and Harry Hungry.[1][3][7]
