Steven Kellogg
Steven Kellogg is an acclaimed American author and illustrator of over 90 children's picture books, known for his humorous and detailed illustrations often featuring ordinary events gone awry. Born in Norwalk, Connecticut, he graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1962 or 1963 and began his career submitting picture book ideas to publishers, debuting with illustrations for *Gwot! Horribly Funny Hairticklers* in 1967. He has received numerous awards, including the Regina Medal in 1989 for his lifetime contribution to children's literature, and donated his life's work to the Mazza Museum.
