Steve Van Beek

Steve Van Beek is an American-born writer and traveler known for vivid nonfiction and memoir rooted in decades of life in Asia, especially Thailand. After serving in the Peace Corps in Nepal in the 1960s, he became a journalist and author whose work draws on travel, culture, and historical observation.
