Steve Troop

Steve Troop is a cartoonist, puppet designer, and author known for his long-running webcomic Melonpool, which ran from 1996 to 2013 and helped make him an early figure in webcomics. He has also worked as an animator and storyboard artist and has written and illustrated books featuring cartoon aliens and dogs.
