Steve Toltz
Steve Toltz is an Australian novelist born in Sydney in 1972, known for his debut novel A Fraction of the Whole (2008), which was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize and other major awards. Before writing, he held diverse jobs including cameraman, telemarketer, security guard, private investigator, English teacher, and screenwriter while living in cities like Montreal, New York, Barcelona, and Paris. His subsequent novels Quicksand (2015) and Here Goes Nothing (2022) also received critical acclaim and awards for humour writing.[1][2][3][5][6]
