Steve Brezenoff is an American author known for young adult novels such as *Guy in Real Life*, *The Absolute Value of -1*, and *Brooklyn, Burning*, as well as over a hundred chapter books for younger readers, including the Field Trip Mysteries, Museum Mysteries, and Ravens Pass series.[1][2][3] Born on Long Island, he spent his twenties in Brooklyn and now lives in Minneapolis with his wife and two children.[1][3][6]
