Stephen R. Schach

Stephen R. Schach is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Vanderbilt University, with a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cape Town and an M.Sc. from the Weizmann Institute of Science. He is a prolific author of over seventy papers and several books on software engineering, including 'Object-Oriented and Classical Software Engineering,' and has consulted for industry while teaching internationally. Born in Cape Town, South Africa in 1947, he is a fourth-generation South African.
