Stephen R. Millar

Stephen R. Millar is an anthropologist and ethnomusicologist whose work focuses on music, power, and conflict, with an emphasis on Britain and Ireland.[1][2] He is a Lecturer in Anthropology and Ethnomusicology at Queen's University Belfast and author of *Sounding Dissent: Rebel Songs, Resistance, and Irish Republicanism* (Michigan, 2020) and *Performing Paramilitarism: Loyalist Songs, Conflict, and Culture War* (Oxford, 2026).[1][2][4]
