Stephen J. Pavlidis

Stephen J. Pavlidis was an American author renowned for his sailing and boating guides, including The Exuma Guide and The Island Hopping Digital Guide to the Northern Bahamas. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, he pursued diverse careers such as mechanical draftsman, flooring installer, and motorcycle shop entrepreneur before becoming a full-time writer while cruising the Bahamas and Caribbean aboard his 40' cutter IV Play since 1989. He passed away at age 65 after a long period of failing health.
