Stephen J Cannell

Stephen Joseph Cannell was an American television producer, writer, novelist, and founder of Cannell Entertainment. He created or co-created nearly 40 television series, mostly crime dramas, including The A-Team, The Rockford Files, and 21 Jump Street, scripting over 450 episodes and producing more than 1,500 episodes throughout his career. He also wrote novels, notably the Shane Scully mystery series.
